Our Mission

This institute aims at technical training and complete rehabilitation of the visually impaired and handicapped people, who, are usually the neglected part of society. These individuals are given technical training in various areas. Most of them have successfully been trained in working on handlooms. White-colored bed sheets, tablecloths, dusters, etc. are manufactured by these individuals right from weaving to sewing. They have also been able to produce and sell writing chalks and beautiful decorative wax candles. Another task of caning chair frames with nylon strings is done very skillfully here. These disabled individuals have been successfully trained to manage the entire process chain of manufacturing the above-mentioned products. To keep up with the pace of the current world, we have started giving them training in operating the computer systems too. As of today, about 35 individuals have a basic knowledge and understanding of the computer and can be employed for small computer-related jobs
